South Valley student arrested for bomb threat
A 16-year-old student is in custody accused of making a bomb threat in the South Valley.

VISALIA, Calif (KFSN) -- A 16-year-old student is in custody accused of making a bomb threat in the South Valley. Visalia police were alerted to threat on social media.

The suspect claimed he was going to blow up Mt. Whitney High School. Visalia police identified the 16-year-old and he was later arrested at his home.

He was booked into Tulare County juvenile hall for making terrorist threats.
