LOS ANGELES -- A Special Olympics athlete from Cote d'Ivoire, who disappeared after wandering away from LAX Monday morning, was found in Inglewood in good health.

Shion Isimel, a 15-year-old who has autism, was last seen in Terminal 5 around 6:20 a.m. He was reported missing by a Delta ticketing agent.

Isimel, who competed as a table tennis player, was last seen walking toward 96th Street away from the airport.

Inglewood police say a resident reported that a juvenile was sleeping on the grass on a residential yard. Officers arrived and recognized the teen to be the missing athlete.

Isimel's team had departed already, but he was reunited with a delegate who stayed behind to wait for him to be found.

The disappearance came after another Special Olympics athlete was found in Hayward early Monday morning. He had been missing since Saturday.
