Suspect arrested for beating a homeless man
Fresno police have arrested a man they believe was involved in a dangerous assault at a car wash.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police have arrested a man they believe was involved in a dangerous assault at a car wash.

30-year-old Kirk Voigt was located in a laundromat at Palm and Harrison just a couple of blocks from the original crime.

Fresno police say a homeless man suffered possible life-threatening injuries when someone hit him in the head with a stick.

The attack happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at a car wash at the corner of Palm and Olive in the Tower District. When officers arrived they found a 39-year-old man on the ground, bleeding.

At this point, his name is not known.
