Suspect sought in Laton homicide

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are searching for a suspect accused of shooting a Laton man then running over him with his car.

Ronnie Montalvo, 41, was killed late Saturday night. Witnesses say a suspect in a parked car was talking with Montalvo before he shot the victim multiple times and drove over him near Murphy and Gonser streets.

The driver is described as an Hispanic man in his 30s, who was driving a late 1990s to early 2000s dark Dodge Neon.

This is the 14th homicide in Fresno County this year.
