Suspected drunk driver crashes into Madera home
A drunk driving suspect is in the hospital Monday morning after driving into a home in Madera overnight.

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A drunk driving suspect is in the hospital Monday morning after driving into a home in Madera overnight.

A woman inside the home at Central and Second was injured in the crash.

Authorities say around 2 a.m. Monday the man missed a stop sign at Central Avenue and Second Street, then flew through a fence before crashing into the home. A woman inside the home was pinned under some furniture and debris from the crash.

Madera Police officers, the fire department, and a family member began moving the debris to free the woman. She was then taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown, but she is expected to survive.

The suspect, 21-year-old Victor Temoxtle, will be taken to jail once he's out of the hospital to face DUI charges.
