Suspects in alleged hate crime against Sikh man pleads not guilty
Two men suspected in a hate crime against a Sikh man in December have entered not guilty pleas.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two men suspected in a hate crime against a Sikh man in December have entered not guilty pleas.

Alexis Mendoza, 17, and 22-year-old Daniel Wilson face numerous charges of beating the 68-year-old man and hitting him with a car. FBI agents worked with Fresno Police to collect the evidence against the pair. Detectives believe the two targeted Amrik Singh Bal because of his Middle Eastern appearance.

Mendoza faces 13-years if convicted and Wilson faces up to eight years.
