SUV crashes into Laton home
Authorities say a man was driving under the influence when he lost control of his SUV and careened through the home's fence and wound up in its living room.

LATON, Calif. (KFSN) -- A truck crashed into the living room of a Laton home Sunday night.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. near De Woody and Kingston Streets.

Authorities say a man was driving under the influence when he lost control of his SUV and careened through the home's fence and wound up in its living room.

Witnesses say a man was inside of the home at the time but was not hurt.

"Then all of a sudden he sped up, full blast," witness Eric Diaz said. "He went right through the fence and went up in the air, about two feet, and then it went down and went into to the house and tires were spinning. I went up to the car and turned off the ignition, it was a nightmare man. I was scared."

The driver of the car has been arrested and booked into the Fresno County jail.
