TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Teen killed in Tulare County street racing crash

A South Valley teen was killed in a street racing crash and now California Highway Patrol wants you to take a look at surveillance video of three suspects.

The fatal accident happened on Road 196 just south of Avenue 192 on Wednesday evening. CHP says an unlicensed teenager was driving a Toyota Corolla and racing with a dark colored four door sedan. They believe the teen tried to overtake the dark car and slammed into another oncoming driver. Investigators say the suspects in the dark car then took the teen out of the car and drove him to a nearby hospital.

Surveillance cameras at the hospital captured them in the lobby and pulling into the ambulance area.

"They took this person that was obviously injured and involved in an accident and they took him to the hospital but they didn't wait around for emergency personnel," said Mike Smith with the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says the suspects then drove away. Anyone who can identify them is asked to come forward.
