FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three teens are in jail following an overnight break-in at Ahwahnee Middle School. It's the second time a Fresno Unified School has been broken into during this winter break.

18-year-olds Isaiah Rucks and Armando Magana, plus a 17-year old, were caught by Fresno police just yards from the school early Friday morning.

Police uncovered several duffle bags with $20 thousand dollars' worth of laptops inside. They also found an ax which investigators believe was used to break open a window to the library.

School officials say the laptops are used nearly every day by students and can also be used as tablets.

Investigators believe the teens knew about the unsecured laptops in the library before they broke in. All three now face charges for burglary.
