Teens plead guilty in hit-and-run death of a 9-year-old Dinuba boy
Elijah Villareal was playing outside with friends in October 2014 when a van hit him and dragged him down the road. Suspects 18-Year-old Anthony Martinez and 16-year-old Sage Martinez were arrested for reportedly being in the van and leaving the scene after killing Elijah.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two teenagers charged with the hit-and-run death of a 9-year-old Dinuba boy appeared in court today.

Elijah Villareal was playing outside with friends in October 2014 when a van hit him and dragged him down the road. Suspects 18-Year-old Anthony Martinez and 16-year-old Sage Martinez were arrested for reportedly being in the van and leaving the scene after killing Elijah.

Both teens pleaded guilty to their charges Friday, which include vehicular manslaughter. Both could face at least 11 years in prison.

They're expected to return back to court on April 5 for sentencing.
