Thief in Batman Mask Robs 2 Florida Dollar Stores
This Caped Crusader went on a caper.
A man dressed as the Dark Knight didn't use his superhero disguise to help save Gotham City, but rather to rob two dollar stores in the Orlando area Tuesday, police said.
Cops are searching for the wannabe Bruce Wayne, who they say entered a 123 Dollar Store and demanded money from the clerk while wearing a Batman mask. The clerk complied with his request, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
About 90 minutes later, the same man in the Batman mask robbed a Dollar General store about 4 miles away, police said.
Neither store clerk was hurt in the robbery, according to the OCSO.
Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male with a thin build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a backpack, along with the superhero mask.
A representative for either store was not immediately available for comment.
