Truck crashes into two apartments in Fresno
Authorities are investigating a possible D.U.I. crash that damaged two Central Fresno apartments early this morning.

Authorities are investigating a possible D.U.I. crash that damaged two Central Fresno apartments early Monday morning.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. at the Four Seasons Apartments on Palm near Dakota. Witnesses say the driver appeared to lose control of his truck and ended up driving through an apartment before coming to a stop when it hit a second building.

A man who lives in the complex said he was just waking up when the truck came crashing through his unit. "I just got up. Sat on the couch. Turn the TV on to watch some news before I got to work, and I heard a screeching sound. By the time I go up off my couch, I turn around and all of a sudden a dark shadow went by, like that, and that's all I remember," said Martin Hall.

The driver of the truck was taken into custody. He has not been identified.
