Valley students make Valentines for veterans

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Valley students are showing love to our local heroes.

"We made them special for our veterans our heroes," a student said. "Thank you so much, love that."

Over the past few days, classrooms at Liberty Elementary and Garfield Elementary have been working on Valentines for veterans. The notes are all hand-made and each student is encouraged to take the time to write something thoughtful.

A member of the Central Valley Blue Star Moms group was there to pick up the Valentines and thanked the children for their gifts.
