VIDEO: Army Humvees break free from parachutes, plummet to ground

HOHENFELS, Germany -- Nearly 2 million people on social media have seen video of a parachute drop of U.S. Army Humvees that went horribly wrong, not once, but three times.

The Army says three Humvees broke free from their parachute rigs and plummeted hundreds of feet to the ground.

Officials say nobody was hurt and the Army is investigating what went wrong.
