VIDEO: Man viciously attacks elderly woman on bus

SEATTLE, WA -- An 80-year-old woman on a bus near Seattle was kicked and choked by another passenger and the attack was all caught on camera.

Police say the woman had just boarded the bus when the man suddenly lunged at her. The bus driver pulls over and tries to pull the attacker off of the woman, but the man then attacks the driver.

During all this, local station KCPQ says passengers run out and call 911.

Watch in the video above what the driver does to escape: he switched the bus off and trapped the man inside.

He was arrested and charged with felony assault.

Police say the man knew the first victim, but it's unknown why he attacked her.
