Visalia Convention Center to receive multi-million dollar make over
A popular convention center is getting a multi-million dollar make over in the South Valley.

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Visalia City Council approved spending $5,000,000 to give the city's convention center a more updated look. They'll be replacing carpet, tile, lighting fixtures, and wallpaper. The center is also getting a new roof and faster WiFi. Officials plan to keep the convention center open while the work is being done.

Wally Roeben with the Visalia Convention Center said, "it's going to be a juggling act for a couple months to get all the work done and still have our customers."

Work on the new roof will start as early as next week. Officials plan to have all the work done before September of this year.
