A South Valley man faces charges for trespassing on a hospital helipad. The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Bernardo Reyes.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A South Valley man faces charges for trespassing on a hospital helipad. The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Bernardo Reyes.

Visalia police say Reyes gained access to a secured area on Kaweah Delta Medical Center's roof Thursday night. When a security guard confronted him, investigators say Reyes attacked the guard with a metal bar.

Officers used a Taser to take Reyes into custody. He was then booked into the Tulare County Jail on assault, trespassing and resisting arrest charges.

There is no word on a motive.
