Wildfire burns about 50 acres, 1 mobile home near Porterville

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters tackled a wildfire east of Porterville on Saturday evening.

The flames broke out around 6:30 p.m. along Reservation Road near Success Valley Drive. The fire burned at least one mobile home and threatened other structures.

Officials with the Tulare County Fire Department say the fire spread quickly, but crews were able to contain it to about 50 acres.
