Woman seriously injured after being struck by car in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman has major injuries after she was hit by a car in Visalia.

Police say a 60-year-old man was driving on Goshen Avenue near Atwood Street when he struck the victim Friday night. She was rushed to the hospital and remains in serious condition.

The traffic unit is still investigating what led up to the crash.
