ABC13 crew rescues stuck dog in Texas

HOUSTON -- When a Texas woman needed help rescuing her dog on Monday, Action News sister station, ABC13 Eyewitness News crew jumped into action.

Brianna, a Chihuahua, became stuck in about 15 feet down in a drain pipe at a home in the 3400 block of Hombly. That storm pipe drains into Green Bayou.

Janet Cook says she called Houston police, who told her to call Animal Control. She said they told her to call the Houston SPCA.

Eyewitness News reporter Jeff Ehling and photographer Matt Black arrived and were able to lower a pet carrier down to Brianna and rescue her.
