Dogs show off Halloween costumes at Bully BOO! Walk in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of dogs enjoyed a treat with their families on Sunday.

The Fresno Bully Rescue hosted its Bully BOO! Walk at Woodward Park. All breeds were welcome, and many sported their best Halloween attire for a costume contest. Action News cameras captured hot dogs, princesses and even the Hulk.

The event also featured several vendors, offering everything from snacks to photo booths to face painting for the humans.

Organizers say their goal is to raise awareness of responsible ownership.

All of the proceeds go toward running the nonprofit bully rescue, which currently has about 45 dogs available for adoption.
