GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- A deer ruined dinner when it crashed through the front door of a home in New Jersey, terrorizing a woman inside.

It happened Saturday afternoon at a home on Northampton Road in Galloway Township.

The woman told police she was putting her sweet potatoes in the oven when the doe burst in, shattering the glass storm door and damaging the main door. She was able to lock it in as it ransacked a back bathroom.

Police were able to get the deer out of the house and release it back into the wild.
