Police are searching for suspect involved in a fatal hit and run in Southeast Fresno

Fresno Police are searching for a suspect after a 49-year-old woman was hit and killed after crossing a street in Southeast Fresno.

It happened near Clovis and Tulare Avenues.

Officials say the driver abandoned the vehicle after the collision and fled on foot. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the incident.

Anyone with any information about the suspect is asked to contact police.
