Police find stolen car in Southeast Fresno canal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities want to know how a stolen car ended up in a canal in Southeast Fresno. It happened just after 12:30 Wednesday morning near Jensen and Chestnut.

Highway Patrol Officers arrived to find a white Dodge Hellcat Charger in the canal with the lights still on.

No one was in the car.

Officers will now talk to witnesses and look for surveillance video to find out if anyone was spotted leaving the scene.
