Police investigating homicide in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in Central Fresno.

Police were called to the intersection of Clinton and First just after midnight. There they found a man in a black, convertible Ford Mustang suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center where he died. The victim is identified as 27-year-old John Graves.

This is the 53rd homicide of the year in Fresno.

There's no word on a suspect or a motive in the attack.
