FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The primary race for Fresno mayor has been expensive.
The three leading candidates have raised and spent more than $1 million.
City Council Member Lee Brand has spent the most in the campaign to be Fresno Mayor with about $540,000 raised that includes $140,000 left over from his city council campaign and a $100,000 loan to himself.
According to campaign documents from the City Clerks office, nearly $20,000 in donations have come in the past week.
Brands biggest donations come from businesses.
Brand is polling a close second to Fresno County Supervisor Henry Perea, who reports raising about $350,000.
About $90,000 of that from his previous campaign account and about $30,000 has come in the past week.
Perea's biggest donations came from unions, Fresno Police and Firefighters.
In third place in the polls, and in fundraising is H Spees.
The former minister has raised $250,000, counting a $100,000 loan to himself.
Most of his donations were small from individuals, about $7,000 reported in the past week.
