Supporters come from across the Central Valley to see Donald Trump

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- They came from across Central California to see the candidate one speaker called "the man who's going to save the United States of America".

Trump's red hats and green placards declaring "Farmers for Trump" covered the arena.

Tony Villa Jr. drove in from Atwater to see Trump. He proudly wore a golf shirt with a Trump design on the back created by his father.

Next to Tony, Betty Delaney of Fresno sported buttons with slogans she thought "The Donald" would probably love.

Laura Loudermilk of Clovis brought her cousin Michelle from San Diego, who skipped the later rally there, to see Trump in Fresno.

He didn't disappoint these supporters, making promises from getting the Valley more water to building up the military, and he scorched Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

Not everyone inside liked what they heard.

Several times, protestors interrupted the speech and a large group was escorted out but Trump seemed unfazed.

A photo shows a what seems to be a lone, silent protestor who stood in the back of the arena wearing a T-shirt that read "Vote for Love."

A strong presence by Fresno Police and the Secret Service kept an eye on him and everyone else.

And when it was finally over many tried to snap a photo or exchange a word or handshake with Donald Trump.
