It must be tough working in a high-pressure environment like the White House -- especially for the interns.

One White House intern fainted at the end of a filmed press briefing on Tuesday. The young woman, positioned between two other interns, started slumping to her right and collapsed, causing Press Secretary Josh Earnest to bring the session to an abrupt end.

It was her first day on the job.

Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz rushed over with water and another aide brought her some M&Ms.

The intern told a pool reporter that she felt faint earlier but didn't skip lunch, so she wasn't sure why she passed out.

She didn't require any medical treatment, but she might now be known as that one intern that caused that one press briefing to be promptly ended.
