Power pole fire knocks power out in Northeast Fresno neighborhood and part of Fashion Fair mall
According to PG&E, a power pole fire in a neighborhood west of Bulldog Stadium has knocked out the power to homes and businesses including part of Fashion Fair Mall.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno suffered a weather-related power outage. PG&E crews are at the scene and power is expected to be restored shortly.

The electricity went out at about 1:30 p.m Thursday afternoon on the north side of the mall, along Shaw and Fresno streets.

Fresno Fire crews tell us, only stores that are not attached to the mall were affected, such as the Cheesecake Factory and Flemings'.

Fire investigators say the power went out when two power poles burned-out due to rain.
