Fresno County parade marks Sikhism founder's birthday

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of Sikhs took part in a colorful parade to celebrate the birthday of the founder of Sikhism.

People gathered at the Sikh temple near Fowler for the parade. The event included Sikhs from across the Valley, with other temples entering floats in the parade and hundreds walking in it.

The celebration included free refreshments and snacks along the parade route.
