FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A church in northwest Fresno officially opened two new children's buildings Sunday.

NorthPointe Church near Herndon and Milburn Avenues has been planning and preparing for the new facilities for years. And at its opening, more than 500 kids got to play and experience their new classrooms.

Pastor Travis Patzkowsky said all are invited, "We're here for the public. We're here for the community. We are investing in kids, and we're investing in their eternity. And so, our door is open to everybody. We want kids to come, and we want them to know about Jesus, hope and peace and that's what this is all about."

Sunday worship times at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
