FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Nashville based singer Meghan Linsey and formerly half of the duo Steel Magnolia headlined the 19th annual Harvest Ball Saturday night at the Save Mart Center in Northeast Fresno. The black-tie event is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Valley Children's Hospital.

Guests were treated to food and drinks, and had an opportunity to bid on dozens of auction items, from a Jerry Tarkanian signed basketball to a Derek Carr Raiders jersey.

Derek's brother, David, also made an appearance at the Harvest Ball, telling about how much the hospital means to the Carr family. Derek's infant son spent several weeks at Valley Children's Hospital two years ago at the start of the football season.

Action News anchor Warren Armstrong served as Saturday night's emcee. ABC30 was a sponsor of the event.
