FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- There's a new way to get around Fresno and you can do it while having a drink. It rides like a bike and it looks like one too but there's nothing typical about these custom wheels called a Party Bike.

"We take short cruises up and down Olive to get the attention of the people. We do a few laps around Tower and let them have a good time on there. Sometimes they just want to keep cruising and that's what we'll do," said Brandon Johnson, the Fresno Pedal Company Co-Owner.

The Fresno Pedal Company's first Party Bike is just that, a party. It seats 15 people on a guided tour of fun.

"The bike is powered by your legs. You have to pedal to make it go, get in sync and rhythm and get those calories burned," said Johnson.

If you bring your own beverages you can drink onboard. The driver on board is sober to make sure everyone rides safely and responsibly. Just pick your destinations and let the tour guide take the wheel.

"You won't be getting a DUI. No, you're not drinking out in public. It's considered a limo law, that's how ABC likes to look at it," said Johnson.

They even offer rides without brews where people as young as 16 get a chance to ride. They do private rentals and Pokemon GO tours. And one seat is just $20.

"Fresno needs more entertainment to keep the community active. I think this will be a great way to provide that service," said Tuyet Nguyen, the Fresno Pedal Company Co-Owner.

For now, they're offering tours in the Tower District, but once they establish themselves they plan to offer more tours in other parts of the city. For more information and where to find them just click here.
