oakhurst, cALIF. (KFSN) -- James Nimmo uses his very own limo to combat drunk drivers in the Oakhurst area.

"I've always tried to live a pay-it-forward type of life," he said. "With all that is going on in our world today... well let's just say I'm fighting back with love and kindness."

The Ahwahnee resident has been a road truck driver for 20 years. In that time, he's encountered a lot of DUI accidents. He says he's watched people die from their injuries before help got to them. So in 2011, he came up with a designated driver service to help combat the problem. Now, James has his limo along with a 21 passenger shuttle bus.

On Sundays, he's also started offering free rides to church.

"It's something I feel our God would want me to do," he said. "For those that have no way to get to church this next Sunday, we will be offering free rides to your place of worship starting at 8 am until 10:30 am with return trip after our service."
