American flags placed next to veterans' graves at Clovis cemetery ahead of Memorial Day

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tributes are underway this Memorial Day weekend to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Volunteers placed flags next to dozens of veterans' graves at Academy Cemetery in Clovis on Saturday morning. The ceremony was organized by Clovis VFW Post 3225 to show respect for those who have served our country.

The flags will stay in place until Monday evening.
