Assisted living center in North Fresno revealed honor wall for Memorial Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A North Fresno assisted living facility revealed a wall of honor for memorial day this year.

People at Cottonwood Court Assisted Living and Memory Care got to see their honor wall in full effect Monday. The wall has pictures and items belonging to residents and their loved ones that have or are currently serving in the military.

"There's everything from a pair of field glasses from World War II to military uniforms, helmets, first aid kits, all these things that people had collected over the years, but this honor wall was so important to people that they were willing to give us items that could be part of this," said Jim Stacy, Regional Operations Manager.

Staff and their loved ones also participated by adding pictures of their loved ones too.

Organizers said the wall will stay up and continue to grow as new residents and staff join the facility.
