Christmas tradition that could not be stopped by war or distance

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This Christmas will be different for the Lopez family.

Rachel Lopez says her and her husband Joel met through friends a few years ago in the Central Valley and have been inseparable since until he was deployed to Iraq in September.

She gave her husband instructions on how they could still make their family Christmas card happen with their two-year-old daughter. They took their separate pictures to Horn Photo in North Fresno, to combine them into one

When she went to pick up her custom-built card, Lopez found out Horn Photo created the cards for their family free of charge. Rachel says it was not about the money, it was the heart and thought behind it.
