Clovis fundraiser aims to help horse ranch
A live auction was held at the Clovis Veterans Hall Saturday evening raising money for the Heart of the Horse ranch.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A live auction was held at the Clovis Veterans Hall Saturday evening raising money for the Heart of the Horse ranch.

The ninth annual event was hosted by PINC - an organization inspired by helping the community. The group chooses a different local organization each year to raise money for. And this year, the PINC stampede was created to benefit the local horse ranch.

Pinc says it chose the ranch because of the impact they have on children and veterans in the community.

"Children who have never walked before are now able to walk, children with speaking disabilities, the animal therapy the connection they are making with the horses are starting to learn their first words after years," president Diane Coderniz said. "It's amazing the strides the children and veterans are making that are working directly at heart of the horse."

The event had over 120 silent auction items and provided dinner and drinks for those in attendance. And if you couldn't attend the event, you can still donate to Heart of the Horse at PINC's website.
