A Coarsegold woman is mobile again thanks to generous viewers

COARSGOLD, Calif. (KFSN) -- Lynnette Mayhew put a down-payment on a new handicapped accessible van thanks to donations to her "GoFundMe" account.

Back in April Action News told you how Lynnette's husband and caregiver suddenly died leaving her without someone who could lift her in-and-out of their vehicle. Now the new van is letting her regain her freedom.

"I get to go many, many places when I want, at what time I want to, and I'm not restricted and all I have to do is ride right up, get locked in and I'm good to go," said Lynnette.

Lynnette is still paying off the van and she welcomes and appreciates anyone who would like to contribute to her "GoFundMe" account.
