Del Rey completes park restoration project

DEL REY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Residents in Del Rey celebrated the completion of a major restoration project on Tuesday involving the city's baseball field and park.

With a $245,000 grant, community members installed a new sprinkler system, laid new sod, and upgraded the lighting at Alex Fonseca Park and Baseball Field. The park also has new bleachers and plenty of shade trees.
