Derek Carr visits Valley Children's Hospital patients

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several patients at Valley Children's Hospital enjoyed a special visit from a star athlete on Sunday. Derek Carr and his wife, Heather, spent the afternoon there.

The Raiders quarterback and former Bulldog spent time with several young patients. He also signed autographs and posed for pictures with them. He even joked around with one young patient who was sporting a San Francisco 49ers logo on his cheek.

The Carrs brought a lot of smiles to the kids and their families, as well as the volunteers and staff.
