Firefighters grow mustaches for a good cause

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Not everyone can grow a mustache, but anyone can support the firefighters. The annual Grow Your Stache fundraiser will benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. All of the money that is raised goes directly to the burn foundation and it helps send kids to Champ Camp.

The annual camp is held every year for burn survivors to gather and have a week of fun and put their worries aside. It takes $750 or more to sending one kid to Champ Camp.

More than 175,000 people were treated for burn related injuries last year and about one third of them were children.

2014 Grow Your Stache fundraiser

A huge finale will be held on Saturday November 15th at the Clovis Rodeo Hall. There will be dinner, dessert, live band, cash bar, live auction, and a silent auction.

Tickets are $20 before November 15th, and $30 at the door.
