Fresno Art Museum hosts Family Fun Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of parents and kids gathered Sunday at the Fresno Art Museum for Family Fun Day.

The free event focused on community-building and cultural events. There was also arts and crafts, face-painting and treasure hunts. Organizers say the event is a way for them to open up their galleries and give back to the community.

"A lot of them didn't even realize it existed, which is great to have them discover it because the museum has been around for over 67 years," Susan Yost-Filgate with the museum said.

Family Fun Day takes place three times a year. The next one is scheduled to take place during the holidays.
