Fresno children who died abandoned buried at Garden of Innocence ceremony
The 11 children were given names and a proper burial. And the strangers in attendance became the family they didn't have in life.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Eleven Fresno children who died without families were buried in the Garden of Innocence.

A special ceremony was held at the Mountain View Cemetery on Belmont Saturday morning.

Organizers hold two of these ceremonies every year to honor abandoned or unidentified babies and give them a proper burial. They've given all 11 children names.

The ceremonies are open to the public and include prayers and poems dedicated to each child.
