FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The story of a beloved teacher's aide in Fresno has gotten the attention of Chevrolet, all the way in Detroit.

Last week we told you the story about Monica Brewer. Some of her former students raised money for her so she could buy a new car. After Chevrolet heard about this they decided to surprise her with one.

At a surprise ceremony at Clovis West the instructional aide, known as Miss Mo Mo, received a new ride.

Miss Mo Mo goes beyond her duties, also serving as a counselor, a coach, and a chauffeur to her kids, taking them to games, rehearsals, and tournaments.

The effort to get her a new car all started because she didn't pass a smog inspection, so for this to happen is all very exciting for the deserving woman. "This is more than I could have asked wished-- Grateful to this community," said Miss Mo Mo.

Miss Mo Mo said she is looking forward to sharing her new car with her students but didn't say what the plans were for her old ride.
