FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The orangutans at Fresno's Chaffee Zoo are ready for the chilly weather thanks to some generous donations.

Orangutans use blankets to keep warm during the winter months, but the animals also use them to build nests. It's part of enrichments exercises teaching them things they would normally do in the wild.

Donations of blankets are always appreciated you may bring them to the zoo admission booth for drop off.

While you're online shopping for loved ones the zoo hopes you'll keep them in mind. They have an amazon wish list of items the animal's need-- like perfumes. Apparently the animals like to investigate different scents and often rub perfume and spices on themselves.
