Our own Action News reporter Veronica Miracle agreed to take the Ice Bucket Challenge on Saturday night.

The grassroots campaign has raised more than $11 million for the ALS Association. Veronica herself donated to the association. The money raised will go toward fighting amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

The water used in Saturday's challenge made its way into our patio's storm drain, and some landed on nearby plants.
