Single mother receives car filled with gifts

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A single mother from the South Valley says she could not have received a better Christmas gift.

With the help of community donations, Central Valley Collision Repair and Central Valley Towing and Automotive gave Kayla Pace a restored used car, filled with toys, groceries, and gifts.

They will also cover any repairs for a year and insurance for six months. Pace works four part-time jobs and lost her last car after an accident.

"I honestly could not have expected this, just the outpouring from the community, it's just been so overwhelming and I'm very appreciative," said car recipient Kayla Pace.

Pace says she is also thankful to her pastor, who gave her an application for the car giveaway.
