When Kirk and Valerie Henning were planning their wedding, the bride-to-be hinted that she'd love a groomsmen dance. The two both work at Richmond Ballet in Virginia, but Kirk played it off like he wouldn't have time to plan it.

"When we first got engaged, she was like, 'You could do a groomsmen dance for me,' and I didn't even know what that was," he told ABC News . "She showed me a few online and I was like, 'No way, I'm too busy.'"

As it turns out, though, he did have time. He lied because he wanted to surprise her.

Along with his eight groomsmen -- half of whom are also professional dancers -- Kirk planned an entire 8-minute routine that completely blew Valerie away. The medley included hits like Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" and Britney Spears' "(You Drive Me) Crazy."

Kirk said that he coordinated the dance almost entirely over email, sending them videos of the moves, and wasn't sure whether his groomsmen would learn the dance.

"I was just hoping they were actually checking their emails," he said.

He had nothing to worry about. All the groomsmen, dancers and non-dancers, fully committed to the dance. They won over the crowd and, more importantly, the bride. In the video she claps, covers her mouth in shock and jumps up in excitement.

By the end, an ecstatic Valerie and the guests can't help but to join in.

In a video going viral, Valerie and the guests are blown away the performance.
