Vigil held for man shot and killed at Fresno Market

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A vigil was held Thursday for the victim of a shooting in southwest Fresno.

The shooting happened saturday on Kearney and Modoc. Police said Eric Gallardo followed anthony jones into the Kearney Market, shot him, then took off.

Thursday, family members say they held the vigil to keep jones in memory. "He's no longer here with us and no matter what, he will always be in our hearts and he's always going to be looking out over us," said Maria Armenta, Jones' girlfriend.
